Not a good time to panic.
Yeap.
Why am I panicking now?
1. I have 3 essays due next week.
First, is in writing progress with all my points sort of laid out with the readings done.
Second, is in writing progress as well - however, with no solid points laid out yet because I have not finish my readings.
Third, nothing is in progress - no ideas, no readings, NOTHING.
2. My laptop crashed.
My lovely Lenovo G480, bought January 2013 has a hard disk drive failure - that fails to boot (not at least 1 hour, everytime recently). Hence, now it's sent to a authorized dealer here in NZ to change the part for free (hopefully they won't bluff me - it's still under 2 years warranty). ETA? Unknown. LOL.
In other words, I don't have my own laptop to work with. I have to use le-G's laptop/ tablet to work on.
3. Health is not keeping up.
Having flu for the past 2 weeks is definitely a plus for my workload, period. Although I'm feeling much better now, and it's visible because I can stand with my sleepiness until 12-1am, I still feel easily fatigued & definitely stressing the shit out of me.
4. I work slow, worry worry worry, not going anywhere.
Yeap, that pretty much explains how I am right now.
Then again, Jasmine, what's the point of panicking?
Worry does not make things better, let alone go faster, remember?
Just WORK. Crawl even though you can't walk or run. Your pace will be faster bit by bit. But if you keep worrying, panicking, worrying, panicking, then because of that you go to facebook, instagram, tumblr, emails, etc - it's not making anything better!
So what if your points doesn't seem to match up your planned structure? So what if you think the readings are so confusing and all jumbled up that it doesn't make really too much sense or that you seem to not be able to arrange it properly? LIFE IS MESSY ANYWAY. HOW CAN YOU EXPECT JOURNALS WRITTEN BY PSYCHOLOGISTS BE IN GOOD ORDER ANYWAY. Yeap. Reminder to yourself: all psychologists are complicated, period. LOL.
Just go with what you planned, and make out what you have to fit into it! Although it's easier said than done - it's a way of getting things started & finally get them to the finishing line (rather than sitting here blogging, typing furiously, lol). You're better than you think! You wouldn't know the outcome until you get your essays back - so stop worrying and start working bitch. Damn it.
Ok... now back to reality.
