Merry x'mas!

Christmas had never been anything special to me - it has always been another normal day in a year.

Well, this year there wasn't anything special either!
*laughs*

I didn't have anywhere to go, or anyone to hang out with for this festive season (as usual anyway). All I did is just wasting my time doing nothing at home for another day (which... I know I should be doing quite some reading instead... *sigh*). Okay probably not entirely wasting my day, I did do the laundry and put on my creative cap. ;D

Plus, dad and I had to go have dinner with grandpa tonight as there wasn't anyone accompanying him today (which is after all a festive season). Nothing special, as usual. *laughs* Sound sad huh? Well, not really. It's just another one of those days when you felt a little contentedness.

The day sort of changed when my mobile phone rang - my aunt called me to call back when I got home. And I did. So I took the chance to greet my maternal grandparents and my grandaunt merry x'mas. ;D It was a rather entertaining phone call, I must say!

First I talked to my (cousin) brother.

Oh.. merry x'mas...
Hey, so who's looking for me? Someone called me earlier to call back.
Uhh... I don't know! Your mom I guess!
Whaa...? MY mom? Are you sure?
She's not even at home (over there)!
She's staying overnight at great grandma's place!!
Huh? I don't know!

Okay okay lemme talk to grandaunt!
Okay...

So then I talked to my grandaunt instead, because I knew she was looking for me.
And... yes I purposely asked my brother who was looking for me. xD

Sure! What do you want me to do?
Okay, go to your fridge and -
*interrupts*
Wait.. MY fridge???
Yes.. YOUR fridge, and help me look for *a kind of food, I duno what is it called in English*. Let me know if there's the phone number there because I need it.

*rummages fridge*
Call me back when you found it okay? So -
I FOUND IT WAIT WAIT.
*skips the lots of unimportant scenes*
*in summary, she wants to buy the food as a gift to someone else. She asked if it tastes nice and all, so I said...*
Why don't you ask uncle's wife to let you try one?
Nah later she'll end up buying it for me and don't accept my money!
Oh oh right... never mind! I still have one in the fridge, so why don't you come to my place to try it?
*FYI, we're both in two different countries*

I don't think it'll worth my money to purposely fly to your place just to eat that, thank you!

So then I talked to my grandma, uhm nothing much special. I asked her about my grandpa, then decided to talk to my grandpa.

Come on she wants to talk to you so just talk!

*skips the usual chit chat scenes*
So grandpa, how's the acupuncture thing? Painful?
Painful... painful a little bit not much... almost nothing...
Wah... needles poke you wor! Not pain ah?!
No not painful... Nothing one what! A bit lah a bit...
Owh... yer... then got feel better anot?

It feels great to be able to make my grandpa laugh, especially at himself!
Then I called my great grandma's place, talked to her and my mom.
I retell the funny parts to my mom and sent her giggling, too! ;D
